My Mr. Harrison

Thirsty Thursday Chronicles

I’m S.V. (short for Svieta) the newest member of the StanaCard Support Team. I’m a free spirit and always live life to the fullest. I tend to get into a little trouble at time…Always fun times though!!! Stay tuned as I will share my fun filled crazy life with you in my regular post “Thirsty Thursday Chronicles”.

Its 7pm, I have answered my last email, and I’m ready to head out of the office. On the way out the building I share some harmless flirtatious banter with the security guard just to get an ego boost and I’m out the door. My cell phone started buzzing as I admire all the latest fashions on my stroll to the upper west side of the city. “Are u busy, I need to talk?” It’s my brother sounding like someone just killed his puppy! He goes on about how he poured his heart out to his old flame trying to get her back. Sadly though she wasn’t so eager to jump back into things and give it another go. See my brother Max is really a big softy who tries really hard to be the tough, cool, mysterious, laid back guy without a care. “Where are you? I’m coming to scoop you up” says Max! This can only mean this Thirsty Thursday will leave us with stories for days!

Max pulls up in his new BMW 328xi looking every bit as pitiful as he sounded on the phone. I hop in, he looks at me and says “Thirsty Thursday” with a ‘We are about to get into lots of trouble face’, to which I replied “Oooowww!!!!”. FYI that is my word and it means many things all which range from ‘yes’ to ‘I’m with it’. We’re fly down the FDR to Melo, Max’s friends place. Max always drives like a maniac, but when he angry or heartbroken it is “Road Terrorism”. I gripped the leather head rest to deal with my fear in silence as he swerved in and out of lanes at high speeds during evening rush hour…I’m shocked I didn’t have a stroke or end up with a uni-butt from squeezing so tight.

I always start off with a shot of Tequila and a Whiskey Sour to sip on…why drink if not to get ‘Saucy’ that’s my point of view on that! Tonight I have plans to change the evening’s agenda, so I tell one of our friends to call some beautiful ladies over. Once the ladies arrive at Melo’s penthouse, which overlooks Time Square and the Hudson River I chat up all the ladies and sneakily tell them someone broke Max’s heart and he’s sad. I then give my boys hugs and kisses and I tell them I have things to do and run out before anyone can ask anything or stop me.

You see I have been thinking about my Mr. Harrison all day, so while no one was looking I hopped on my Blackberry and set up a little rendezvous. I use to be in a relationship some years back with my Mr. Harrison, and now we have been seeing each other frequently lately since we are both newly single. He just has a certain ‘I don’t know what about him” that I just never got over and tonight I needed a dose of it.
