Ok. I am on the road again and making my way back to NYC. I really did have a great time. If you ever make your way down there you really need to head to Schlitterbahn. It really is “The Hottest Coolest Time in Texas”. Going back home really is bitter sweet. I love it when I first get there, things are great I get to see old friends, and meet new ones. Then after a few days I remember why I spent my entire walking existence trying to leave. It’s what I would call in the middle. It’s not to big or small. It’s not to hot or cold. You would think it’s just right, but no it’s just boring. I need to be an extreme. Either give me a huge city with lots of smog and traffic or take me in the middle of no where and leave me to die. I never felt at home in Texas and to be honest I don’t think I’ve found my home yet. I’ve been all over the world, 26 countries to be exact and even though there were some place I just loved there were never any places I could see myself living the rest of my life. I love to move around and just experience new places. I always wanted to just live in a van and cross the country taking on temp jobs just to get me to the next place. It’s weird because it’s not like I was raised this way or even raised to leave San Antonio. I have a huge family, a huge family and all but one aunt and one uncle live in San Antonio and the others still live in Texas. So I am kind of the oddball of the family. I like it that way though. I like to be different and I hope to stay this way.
